Heeello, it's been a while like two weeks since our first devlog :DDDD!

it's been a tough semester but we have been working in two aspect. In the first week, we focus on the mechanics like Portals and how they works with the enviroment (when to teleport, how to connect two portals to teleport the players or props and theirs visual). Also, we have been working on Players, specifically when they use the portals and how they can instantiated them using what we temporally called PBullet (means Portal Bullet, yes very original name c: ). PBullet is a special bullet that players can use to spawn portals when the bullet collides with a wall. All this features that we talk can be view this gif :)


We think this can be impoved in the future but the minimuns requeriments were accomplished :DD.

Then, in the second week, we work on multiplayer sides. We add the comunication bewteen the hosted side and the clients sides. We tested only in localhost :/.

On the following week we need to do a lot of things:

  • We need to resolve some bugs discovered when we were testing the multiplayers feature, sometimes portals does not spawn their portals DD:
  • Test the game with more than two computers c:
  • Continue to work in essential mechanics and start to implement sprites and SFX!!
